It's simple with Senior Services' Story Tell

Come to a warm, welcoming place where you and a family member or friend can sit down and record that special story you wish to hear and preserve for generations to come.

We'll help you prepare in advance by providing you with a list of interview questions. Our facilitator will take care of all the technical aspects of the recording and provide you with an audio CD or video DVD.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but what's the value of hearing family stories from a loved one?  Seattle seniors are making sure their memories are passed down to future generations by having them professionally recorded.  It’s all part of Senior Story Tell, just one of the many programs from Senior Services of Seattle/King County. 

But Senior Story Tell doesn’t just benefit the families; it also helps other seniors in the community.

Have old film you want to save?

We also transfer old 8mm/S8mm film, VHS/Hi8 tape, or photographs to a DVD for your viewing pleasure.
